Prof. Dr. Mesut Sipahi has further developed his expertise in the field of surgery through his residency training in general surgery at Kocaeli University, and he stands out for his experience and expertise in the healthcare sector. Dr. Sipahi, who was awarded the title of Associate Professor at Yozgat Bozok University on October 17, 2018, continues to diligently pursue his achievements and expertise in the field of surgery. Having performed over 10,000 obesity and metabolic surgery procedures throughout his career, Dr. Sipahi is recognized for his special talents in this field. In addition to obesity and diabetes (Metabolic Surgery) procedures such as sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and gastric transit bipartition, he possesses extensive experience in the revisions of these surgeries. Dr. Sipahi has also gained extensive expertise in laparoscopic surgery and successfully performs complex procedures such as laparoscopic hernia repair and laparoscopic colon resection. Furthermore, he successfully performs endoscopic procedures such as ERCP, endoscopic sclerotherapy, stent placement, gastric botulinum toxin injections for obesity, and the insertion and removal of gastric balloons.
