Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mesut Sipahi, a graduate of Selçuk University’s Faculty of Medicine who further developed his expertise in the field of surgery through his general surgery residency at Kocaeli University, stands out for his experience and expertise in the healthcare sector.

Dr. Sipahi, who was awarded the title of Associate Professor at Yozgat Bozok University on October 17, 2018, continues to diligently pursue his achievements and expertise in the field of surgery.

Dr. Sipahi, who has performed more than 10,000 obesity and metabolic surgery procedures throughout his career, is recognized for his expertise in this field. In addition to obesity and diabetes (metabolic surgery) procedures such as sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and gastric transit bipartition, he also possesses extensive experience in revisions of these surgeries.

Dr. Sipahi, who has also gained significant expertise in the field of laparoscopic surgery, successfully performs complex procedures such as laparoscopic hernia repair and laparoscopic colon resection. Additionally, he successfully performs endoscopic procedures such as ERCP, endoscopic sclerotherapy, stent placement, gastric botulinum toxin injections for obesity, and the insertion and removal of gastric balloons.
